The World Has Changed

Wow! It has been a while. Just stumbled upon this blog while clearing my digital junks. 

I have actually forgotten some of these stories like the one about the shiniest ring.  So many things have happened in the time in between.  Many are simply captured as a snapshot of the moments and stored away on Google Photo. But the pictures alone cannot tell the stories as they were meant to be told. I am not sure whether I want to lay bare my thoughts and feelings now that Gracie is all grown up. Well, a grown up teen. Anyway, I am glad to have captured some of the snippets of life previously. 

The world has certainly changed. There is no clear end in sight for the COVID-19 pandemic. The whole family has been fully vaccinated. No time for complacency yet. The Delta variant is more infectious and many fully vaccinated people are confirmed to be COVID-19 positive. Thankfully, the vaccines seem to help in reducing the severity of the infection. We still do not know enough about the virus and there will be more mutations. So the future remains uncertain but I am hopefully that the children will inherit a better world.
